• Avoid using commercial fabric softener: it reduces absorbency and fixes bad odors.
  • Dry towels in the sun whenever possible to disinfect them naturally.
  • Wash towels separately from other clothing, especially synthetic clothing.
  • Don’t overload the washing machine: towels need space to rinse thoroughly.
