Fresh reports suggest that Prince William may take a far tougher stance toward Prince Harry and Meghan Markle once he eventually becomes king. According to an insider quoted in a recent report, the future monarch is increasingly frustrated by what he sees as the couple continuing to benefit from their royal status while publicly criticizing the institution they stepped away from.
The source claims William believes the situation cannot continue indefinitely. “It enrages him that they’re being allowed to trade off royal status and bad-mouth the institution at the same time,” the insider alleged. The report suggests William has privately indicated that once he takes the throne, one of his priorities would be to remove the Duke and Duchess titles currently held by Harry and Meghan.
The claim also suggests the decision would address what William reportedly sees as a long-standing issue that King Charles III has so far chosen not to act on.
